Have you written your Faith Goals already? Isn’t exciting to write something about
your goals, dreams, and aspirations?
But most of the time, our desires were not answered by God.
But hey! It’s fine if some of our goals and prayers are not fulfilled or answered.
Let's take a look at these things that we will learn along the way despite the unanswered
prayer.

1. Discipline to take an action
If our prayer to the Lord is not fulfilled, maybe we are lacking in the work?
Try to reevaluate yourself for the past year. Maybe we did not do anything to make this
happen?
For example, if you’re a student and wanted to have good grades yet you’re not
studying, do you think God will give it to you?
Maybe not.
As they say, “God gives mercy to those who help themselves.” Therefore this year,
discipline yourself to take action, regardless if it’s a small or big step, as long as you
will do something for you to progress on that goal. This is also a good way for us to practice productivity.
1 Peter 1:13 "Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your
hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed."
2. From self-centered plans, your goals will turn to selfless goals
As you do your Faith Goals annually, you will eventually realize that as time goes on,
your dreams become more mature and selfless. Way back, your prayers used to be
purely about materials or for personal consumption only, but now you’re including
your family, friends, and even our country in your prayers.
Maybe you haven’t noticed it yet, but as time goes by, you'll see what we're saying,
and that's great. Another good attitude unlock!
Matthew 25:40 "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of
the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
3. In every rejected plan there's a lesson
Lastly, not all our desires can be given by the Lord, however, let’s find the lesson
here.
Maybe the Lord wants you to learn how to wait?
Maybe the lesson here is not to be selfish?
Maybe the Lord is correcting your bad attitude first?
Maybe this “goal” is reserved for the next year?
There’s a lot of maybes, but one thing is for sure, the Lord will never let you down
and never left you behind.
Whatever may happen, let’s not be discouraged. We should take this opportunity to
learn from God's grace and ways.
Always remember this line, "It's not rejection, it's a redirection."
All in all, we should always see the brighter side of everything and always be grateful
to our Almighty God.
So, what to do with our unanswered prayers?
Reflect on your actions. Be grateful and proud of your works with God. And always
see the lessons.
Just let go and let God.
