Wasted Efforts

Sometimes trying to do the right thing can be exhausting. You exerted a lot of effort

in making them feel good and sharing God’s word, but you are still being told bad

things, being rejected, or otherwise your efforts were ignored.

But before we quit and get tired of it, let us remember that you can’t force and please

everyone. If you will do it by yourself, you will definitely get tired and weary of

exerting so much effort to force someone to join the ministry or attend a Bible study.

Our gentle efforts to prompt someone to right action may be ignored. Ouch!

But Galatians 6 is a good chapter to read when you’re discouraged by someone's

response to our sincere efforts.

Galatians 6:9-10 "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers."

The Lord wants us to continue sharing His word and live with it. Sometimes it is tiring

as if your efforts are not reciprocated but remember everything is revealed to Him.

We can leave the results of our lives in God's hands. Everything will be worth it. You

may rest for a while but you must continue with the guidance of our Almighty Lord

because there’s still a lot of souls who deserve kindness and still need salvation. Ask God for guidance and let Him help us to persevere in doing good. Always.
