The Best is yet to Come

GOOD … BETTER … BEST

As the saying goes "The BEST is yet to come!”

But what do we mean by the word BEST?

BEST means 'Better than all quality'

BEST means 'Most Appropriate...'


"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us," Ephesians 3:20

Most of us are asking the BEST in life; even life is not so perfect, we always aim for the best. Sometimes, (let’s admit it) we don’t feel that we are enough; we don’t think that we can do it; we don’t know that we deserved something; we don’t feel that we can be the best version of ourselves.


We think, WE CANNOT but actually, WE CAN.

We think, “I HAVE THE WORST” but actually “THE BEST IS YET TO COME!”

You know what is that means? The story isn’t over yet, you are just in time and in the process of having the best in you. You just need to stand up and help yourself to do the process. I cannot promise that this journey will be full of fun and excitement, but I can assure you that before you go to bed, there’s a voice of God telling you “WELL DONE!” and when you wake up, there is this promise from above saying “I WILL BE WITH YOU!”

Today, as we continue this journey, I want you to start with the word BEST

How?



First step: Start each day with FAITH

"In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation." Psalms 5:3

From this day forward, I am encouraging you to start with the word FAITH. Be Positive! Start with a smile and a prayer. There’s no powerful weapon in this world more than a man and woman who put God first in his/her heart. Leave your problems, workloads, activities and duties behind, at least just for a moment and focus in your heart. Listen to your favorite music, much better if Christian songs. Read your bible, your bible is your food for your soul and instructions to have an orderly and magnificent day. Do not skip your breakfast; it’s the best part of mornings. Do not tend to start your day with full of madness and worries, it might make you look older and besides, do you think the word BEST will attract your day if you start with anger?


Start your day full of goals and objectives. Don’t mind if it is easy or hard, remember: you have God beside you.



Second step: Look for the good in every situation

We know that for those who love God, that is, for those who are called according to His purpose, all things are working together for good.” Romans 8:28

In a white paper that has a dot at its center; many people might notice the dot at the center of it without appreciating how beautiful the paper is. The reason why this world is full of grievances is because we always look at the worst side of life without appreciating and being thankful how wonderful this world is. Things might not go according to what we perfectly plan, things might change a little bit, things might fall sometimes, but that is okay. You don’t need to feel worst for the changes in your situation, even this is all about your studies, workloads, relationships, and even to your family matters. It is alright, you do not have the control in all kinds of situation. But if you just pause for a while and try to think of it, believe me, you will see something to be thankful for. It might happen that the result is not what you are expecting but there is something in your situation right now that you should look for, maybe what and where you are right now is just part of the process that is telling you be stronger, better and humble.

In all situations, there will always be beauty in rain.



Third step: Give your Problems to God

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6


Most of us are so stressful in terms of studies, workloads, relationships, business, and some personal matters. As what they say, you are not human if you don’t have problems in life. Oh well, partly true, even a baby cry because of a little problem that he/she might be hungry and his/her best way to say it is to cry. But having problems in life doesn't mean that we have the WORST situation ever. We may have different situations and problems but remember that we all have the same God who helps us and pushes us to be the best version of ourselves.



You just have problems but you can still have the BEST IN LIFE, how? Give it to God, REMEMBER: God will make a way

And what they say? Do your BEST, and God will do the REST

Actually, there’s a lot of ways and means to have the BEST in this whirlwind world, and I didn't mean that life will be perfect, but I assure you, God provides you the BEST and nothing but the BEST,

" For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Now, I want you to remember, this year and your story isn’t over yet, our God is still working in you.
