Did you count slowly? Did you wait for 10 seconds before reading this article?
If not, may I know why? Maybe because I don’t see you or we are not patient enough to do the process, or as a matter of fact, you really did not count slowly and WAIT.
It is alright! The fact is that not everyone is good and expert when it comes to the word “PATIENCE”.

“But the fruit of the Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace, PATIENCE, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control; against such things there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23
From the very first time I’ve heard this verse, I immediately do a self-check, and I’ve found out that I have: love (check!), joy (check!), peace (check!), patience (okay, wait!), kindness (check!), goodness (check!), faithfulness (check!), gentleness (check!), and self-control (oh, I think I also have it, so let’s check it!).
Looking at my checklist, I admit, patience is the character that I need to improve, really, and I know, I am not alone. Most of us, especially these modern days, are not so patient enough to wait for our order when we’ve heard that our favorite apple pie will serve after an hour. We hate delayed flights; we don’t like someone making us wait in a coffee shop; we really hate seeing our desktop doing lots of ‘loading…” and we hate long queues.
We feel like some scenarios of our life are a waste of time and waiting is a time consuming. As much as possible, we want things to be at our fingertip right away. One click and here it is! And that’s what we like.

The Holy Spirit contains nine different fruits and one of these is “patience”. Patience is the supernatural fruit of the Holy Spirit and without this; we cannot build the other eight. Patience is one of the things we must have.
IS WAITING A TIME CONSUMING?
“The foolishness of man ruins his way, and his heart rages against the LORD.” Proverbs 19:3

The reason why we fail sometimes is because we don’t know how to wait patiently for the right time to go. When we pray for something, we want God to instantly approve it. But the fact is we cannot rush things that we want to last forever. There are really things that take time and taking time is not time consuming. It is actually a healthy process of being productive.
PATIENCE IS IN THE STATE OF BEING PRODUCTIVE
The misconception of the idea of patiently waiting is that we think we will not work and do something. The very reason why it has the first word of ‘PATIENTLY’ is because while we wait, we work. We do something that helps us to grow and be the next version of ourselves.

Waiting may seem really a time consuming but if we choose to be patiently waiting and let our days be productive, and then it’s actually worth having for. We can spend time learning new skills, improve our talents, do some healthy exercise, write novels, attend seminars, travel in different places, meet new friends, read different books, write music, and make time for God. Grab every opportunity that can make you closer to your purpose in life.
PATIENTLY WAITING
Waiting is far different from being patient. Everyone is capable of waiting and we don’t have a choice most of the time but having patience is a kind of character that while we wait, we don’t get mad but we learn to have a cheerful heart while waiting.

Patience is having a heart that can still manage to say thank you with a smile even in the midst of our hectic schedule.

PATIENCE IN PRAYER
“Just because it’s not happening right now, doesn’t mean it never will” unknown
God provides three answers to our prayers; it may be YES, NO or WAIT PATIENTLY. Yes and No of God is a clear answer but making us patiently waiting by God is not a bad thing. This only means that God is working behind our back, God is doing something that will surprise us and God wants us to learn from His answer. We don’t need to rush God; He knows what’s best for us.

BE PATIENT, GOD IS NOT FINISHED YET
When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen” Isaiah 60:22

It may be anxious when things don’t go according to what we want but take heart and trust God that He is working to make you a fine gold. Trust God’s process in you. It may not be seen by your naked eyes and it may look like things don’t come accordingly but know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58)
Every time I am in the long line with my father, he always tells me to be patient and know that I will see my labor at the end of line.
And now, this is my time to tell you, “Be patient dear, at the end of this long queue is the fruit of your labor.”
