February is one of the most awaited months of many since this month is considered as our Love
month. A month where we celebrate the sweetness of love, a month where we find red as our favorite color, a month where we spend so much money for red roses and tulips and sunflowers, a month where we fall in love over and over again and a month where most couples makes most out of their efforts to show to their partner in life how much they truly love them.

But for you, what is love?
“Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres.
Love never fails.”
1 CORINTHIANS 3:4-8
Many believe that there is no perfect and accurate explanation of love than what 1 Corinthians
13 tells us.
Love is not only for those who are in relationships always; it can be with your mom, dad,
neighbors, friends, workmates, and a love for yourself.
LOVE YOURSELF
Love is not just about giving love to others; you need to know that the first step of love is to love
yourself first. It is hard to shower your unending love if you forgot to accept and love who you really are.
You need to know that you alone are well deserved of everything in this world; you alone are enough and have nothing to prove to anyone. Never make yourself an option to somebody because you are.
God’s top priority and you are fearfully and wonderfully made by God himself (Psalm 139:13-14).
Start walking alone in the street, start shopping alone, try to eat alone, start reading books,
make yourself productive every single day, improve your wellbeing, improve yourself.
Remember that being alone doesn’t mean that you are lonely; it only means that you start learning to love your own company even without the approval of many.
“If you don’t love yourself, nobody will. Not only that, you won’t be good at loving anyone else, Loving starts with the self.” – Wayne Dyer
LOVING OTHERS
My former pastor always said that start being blessed that you can be a blessing to others. Being
a blessing to others means showering them with all the love that you can without expecting anything in return. Don’t you know that today, you are one of the reasons why someone feels loved. Your smile, your laughter, your sweetness, all your corny jokes, your unending stories, your hugs and kisses and your wonderful presence makes someone’s life complete because of you. Loving others doesn’t mean you need to lend them money always or treat them always or give them expensive gifts just to say and show how much you love them. Mostly, it’s not all about the gifts and money, it is all about how willing and how far you will take to be with someone for better and for worse, in richer and in poorer, and in sickness and in health.
Loving others is one of our greatest and most wonderful jobs, why? In this way, we unknowably
shower them with God’s unending love.
“ Love is not just today; love is yesterday, today, tomorrow, and for the rest of your life. Love is for you and for me. Love is meant and well deserve for everyone” – Daryll Jane
