Have you experienced to work in a farm? My father was a farmer for most of his life. He knew how to grow and plant healthy crops. I begun to work in a farm with my dad or “tatay”when I was 9, until I reached my 14th where I am on my second year high school.

The main thing I learned from him was how to grow a garden of vegetables, fruits and rice. We had to wait for the irrigation water to come through our land and then channel it to the crops and travel on either side of the rows of seed, that way it would water the roots without washing the seedling or young plants. If we were careful and diligent we produce good crop. And it always made my father proud.

All of us are planting something in our lives every single day and we are also reaping whatever we have planted, and let me share you some good ways how to produce a GREAT crop and what SEEDS should we plant.

1.) Plant seeds of LOVE, the Lord plant His love for us , so lets God’s love through us flow to others.

2.) Plant seeds of JOY, circumstances have nothing to do if we are full of joy, we can have joy in spite of difficult and painful problems.

When we live in the joy of the Lord , you have expectations that God is going to do something great in your life.

3.) Plant seeds of PEACE, pray that the presence of the Lord planted in your life so that peace will grow stronger no matter what your circumstances are.

4.) Plant seeds of PATIENCE, another word for patience is long suffering, why do you think is important that patience be growing us?it’s because God’s timing is not our timing, He takes to bring thing to past.

5.) Plant seeds of KINDNESS, you have a choice in what you plant in a garden, you take the seeds you want and put them in the soil and God makes them grow. KINDNESS is something you choose to put on. The ultimate act of kindness was when JESUS gave His life for us.

6.) Plant seeds of GOODNESS, Every GOOD TREE, bears GOOD FRUIT. The bible say in Matthew 7:17-18 “As goodness grows in your heart, goodness will automatically come in your life.”

7.) Plant seeds of FAITHFULNESS, when we are reliable, loyal and trustworthy and do what is right, no matter what, we exhibit faithfulness, Luke 16:10 say that “ He who is faithful in small thing, is faithful also in much, and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.

8.) Plant seeds of GENTLENESS,when we are ARROGANT it makes people feel bad about us, and about themselves. Gentleness is humble,meekness that is calm, peaceful and easy to be around. It means that being considerate of the feelings of others.

9.) Plant seeds of SELF CONTROL, only GOD can PLANT that attitude , having no self control means you do whatever pleases you, no matter what the consequences are.

As long as we stay connected in the TRUE VINE, I guarantee you we will produce a good crop that will make our father in heaven proud. And we will gain the fruit of the Holy Spirit which are LOVE, JOY, PEACE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS and SELF CONTROL, against that there is no law.
