Faith Goal

Updated: Feb 12, 2021

Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails” Proverbs 19:21

Most of us might say that this year, 2020, is not our lucky year. Lots of catastrophe happened and lots of our personal plans and schedules are rearranged and totally cancelled.

Some got depressed, small businesses needed to shut down and most of us are back from square one.

It’s not what we expected that happened, even me, myself, taught that this year might be my blissful year but turns out to be the opposite.

Oh well, it is alright.

The important thing is that you are alive and let me just congratulate you,

YOU MADE IT!

I know, it’s not an easy journey but believe it or not, 2020 made you stronger, better, brighter and mightier. Haven’t you noticed, God did move upon your life, not in a way you expect it but in a very surprising way, your health, family, friends, work, studies and a lot more.

I just want you to know how blessed you are.

Sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things” Psalm 98:1

FAITHGOAL

“It isn’t only a NEW YEAR, it is a new chance for everyone to RESTART” Mohammed Sekouty

Let me just teach you a little way to start your another year. If I were you, stop doing your new year’s resolution since you’re not actually working on it instead start doing your faithgoal.

I’ve been doing this from the moment I’ve learned this since 2016 and I’ve seen how God answers my prayers and how He teaches me to be patient in prayer.

Here’s how:

  • Get a whole bond paper or preferably, personal notebook.

  • On the upper part, put your title “FAITHGOAL 2021”

  • Make at least one inch provided space on the right side of your paper, and then write “DATE ANSWER”

  • On the left side, list down all your goals for 2021, like ‘a new house’, ‘new car’, ‘buy myself a new bag’, ‘promotion in work’, ‘have an own business’, ‘travel with friends’, ‘travel with family’, ‘learn how to cook’, ‘learn a new sport’, and a lot more. In listing down, I suggest for you to be specific in your faithgoal.

  • Do not misplace this because these simple faithgoals of yours will serve as God’s answer in your life.

  • Every day, pray with your faithgoal. “…so faith without works is dead also”James 2:26. The reason why it is called “faithgoal” is because it is your ultimate goal with faith in the Lord.

  • Once one of your prayers was answered and happened, write your specific date when it was answered on the right side.

This time, you are not working and doing alone, you are now officially partnered with our Lord.

I tell you, you might notice that not all your faithgoals for 2021 will immediately answer but keep writing and keep praying, who knows? Maybe after a year or two, an answer prayer is waiting for you.

But truly God has listened; He has attended to the voice of my prayers” Psalms 66:19

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” Mark 11:24
