BEAUTY OF WAITING

I don’t know someone who wants to always wait, especially that our world is technologically advanced now. All were instant already! Instant noodles, instant coffee, instant food delivery, and so much more. Even our communication was instant. With all this “instant’ stuff, waiting is no longer needed.
And sometimes, we have prayers that have been too long for the Lord to be heard. If there’s an "instant blessing" or "instant answered prayer" button, you probably have used it more often than once.
But friends, we have been deceived.
Those instant foods were not as healthy as home-cooked meals. The taste and comfort of a brewed and well-prepared coffee are incomparable to the instant ones. And even the instant communication we have can lead us to mistake. Because we don’t know how to wait, some things will not turn out well.
There’s also a time wherein we grab opportunities even it is not for us, even it is not meant for you, and given to you by God. Remember to always wait for your turn and don’t just grab opportunities even you’re still not ready.
Sometimes it is the way of the devil to deceive us and turn us to the wrong way--- a way full of rejections, disappointments, sadness, and negativity. You should always wait and pray first if that opportunity is really from God.
Eh, how about the wasted opportunity?
What if there’s no next time?
I don’t want to wait anymore. It’s so tiring!
Here’s the answer, friend. If that opportunity is really meant for you and designed by God just for you then no matter how many times you refuse, it will come back to you in God’s perfect time and will. It is just like a gift, even that person will refuse to accept the gift, if that gift is only for him/her, then it will be given to him/her no matter what.
Remember in Ecclesiastes 3:11 "He has made everything beautiful in its time."
Learn to wait for our turn, because even the opportunity passed by if the Lord has intended and sealed it just for you, then you don’t have to worry. It will come back to you, overflowing and more than you expected.
Just wait and you will surely receive!
Because in waiting you learn how to be patient, understanding, obedient, and having a strong faith in God. Waiting with God is not a wasted time. That’s the beauty of waiting.
Psalms 27:14 “Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.”
